There are many people who are concerned about the dangers associated with RF EMF, but there are ways to safeguard yourself. Wearing clothes made from EMR shielding fabrics can protect your body from harmful radiation. Such fabrics are often made from a silver-colored cloth encased in a fine mesh. When the rays of a cellphone or WI-FI signal hit this fabric it causes the electrons within it to eddy echo around the material. RF EMF can cause heat to organic matter
RF EMF is a potent source of energy which can heat up organic matter. It does this by altering the water molecules' polarization. This can lead to superficial and deep burns cataracts, deep burns, and general hyperthermia. Although these symptoms may not be as obvious as typical EHS symptoms but they are nonetheless grave. Fortunately, the amounts of exposure that are sufficient to trigger these effects are not as significant as the consequences of prolonged exposed to EMF.

An RF antenna that measured 25 feet in length could be positioned at about 620 feet in depth. During 40 hours of RF heating the temperature within the borehole was raised to 220 F. This study highlighted RF heating as a potentially useful technique for heating formation. In a later study, Bottazzi et al. (2013) studied the benefits of electric heating in the downhole situation.


Both methods can be used for heating up organic matter. One method is placing the object in an electromagnetic field. A second approach involves placing an object within the field that is an inductor. The electromagnetic field creates electrical currents in the material, which heats up the object. The amount of heat that is generated depends on the resistance of the material to the flow of the currents and the length of the exposure.

Although the biological effects of RF EMF are not conclusive, studies have revealed a possible connection between exposure to EMF from RF as well as EHS symptoms. The relationship needs further investigation to discover whether EMF exposure causes EHS. It has been proven that childhood leukemia can be linked with the proximity of homes to power lines.

RF EMR is composed of two elements namely, magnetic and electric. Both of them combine to produce an electromagnetic field that has various levels of strength. This intensity can be measured with specific units. For instance, the electrical field strength is measured as volts per square meter. The magnetic field strength can be measured in milliwatts per square centimeter and the combined electrical field strength of the electromagnetic fields is calculated in power density.

The non-ionizing type of EMF has lower frequencies, meaning it's not able to break chemical bonds. In contrast, ionizing radiation is able to break chemical bonds and can cause oxidative damage in the body. Additionally,  emf shields  may cause skin changes and tumors in certain people. In the end, excessive exposure may cause long-term health problems.

The research that proves how exposure to RF EMF can cause EHS is not extensive. There are however many other studies that prove the link to RF EMF and oxidative stress. Although  emf shields 's still not clear what the duration of EMF exposure can cause cellular damage, it's important to understand what is happening within the body to prevent this type of problem. It could even affect organ function.

The effect of heating caused by RF EMF can be explained by the polarity of the compounds. When RF energy travels through a polar substance that has atomic nuclei, electrons within the nuclei get displaced from their equilibrium position. This causes the electrons around the nuclei transform into induced dipoles. This dipole realignment takes place thousands of times per second. In this process, friction develops between the rotating molecules and heat is produced throughout the material.

While RF radiation does not directly damage DNA, it can cause heat to build up within body tissues and cause injuries to tissues or burns. Unlike ionizing radiation, RF radiation is not believed to cause cancer. However, some studies have shown increased tumor rates in laboratory animal models exposed to RF radiation.

There are numerous federal agencies involved in controlling and monitoring the consequences from RF radiation on human bodies. This includes the Environmental Protection Agency, the Food and Drug Administration, and the OSHA. They track RF exposure to ensure it's safe for employees. They also encourage employees to limit their exposure when working in high-frequency RF environments.
